Product Information

Reports:

One of the primary purposes of Applied Technology Council is to develop resource documents that translate and summarize useful information to practicing engineers. This includes the development of guidelines and manuals, as well as the development of research recommendations for specific areas determined by the profession. ATC is not a code development organization, although several of the ATC project reports serve as resource documents for the development of codes, standards and specifications.

Applied Technology Council conducts projects that meet the following criteria:

A brief description of most major completed projects and reports is given in numerical order in the Abstracts list. To view the most up-to-date information, go to the Online Store and browse the Product Index.

Funding for projects is obtained from government agencies and tax-deductible contributions from the private sector.

TechBriefs:

ATC TechBriefs are short documents on subjects of interest to earthquake engineering professionals. TechBriefs summarize research that is relevant to design practice.

Training Manuals:

ATC training manuals facilitate the presentation of selected reports with the use of extensive training narratives, coordinated with accompanying slides.

Databases:

ATC databases, provided in electronic form, allow easy access to information related to such subjects as earthquake damage evaluation of structures, potential for lifeline disruption after an earthquake, and other seismic vulnerability statistics.

Subscription Program:

The ATC Subscription Program has been established to provide individuals and organizations with various benefits. To subscribe, go to the Online Store, Section 9, read the options and order the appropriate subscription type.
