ATC TechBriefs are short documents on subjects of interest to earthquake engineering professionals. TechBriefs summarize research that is relevant to design practice. Copies of ATC TechBriefs are available here as PDF files.

This technical brief inventories and describes the available regional liquefaction hazard maps in the United States and gives information on how to obtain them. The types of maps are explained, as well as the methods for determining liquefaction susceptibility.
ATC TechBrief 2, Earthquake Aftershocks - Entering Damaged Buildings, 1999 (5.1Mb).
This TechBrief offers guidelines for entering damaged buildings under emergency conditions as a function of time after the initial damaging event. This file can only be read using Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or later.
