Training Information

ATC-48: Built to Resist Earthquakes. The joint venture partnership of the Applied Technology Council (ATC) and the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a training curriculum to improve the quality of the seismic design and construction of buildings. The curriculum has been developed to serve as a resource for continuing education of architects, engineers, building officials and inspectors. Bound in a three-ring notebook, the curriculum consists of several hundred pages of training materials pertaining to the seismic design and retrofit of (1) wood-frame buildings, (2) concrete and masonry construction, and (3) nonstructural components. (Published 1999, approx. 300 pages)

ATC-21-T: Rapid Visual Screening of Buildings for Potential Seismic Hazards Training Manual was developed under a contract with FEMA to facilitate the presentation of the contents of the ATC-21 report series (see Subject Index: Topics in Earthquake Studies). The training materials consist of 120-35mm slides and a companion training presentation narrative coordinated with the slides. (Published 1996, 135 pages)

ATC-20-T: Postearthquake Safety Evaluation of Buildings Training Manual was developed under a contract with FEMA to facilitate the presentation of the contents of the ATC-20 and ATC-20-1 documents (see Topics in Earthquake Studies). The training materials consist of 160-35mm slides and a companion training presentation narrative coordinated with the slides. (Published 1993, 177 pages)
