At the annual Organizational Board meeting on February 3, 2007, the Applied Technology Council (ATC) Board of Directors elected officers for the Year 2007. Mr. Patrick Buscovich of Patrick Buscovich & Associates, San Francisco, California, was elected President. During his seven years on the Board, Pat has served as Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, and on numerous ATC Board Committees. Succeeding Pat as Vice President is Dr. James Harris of J. R. Harris & Company, Denver, Colorado. Mr. David Hutchinson of Buehler & Buehler Structural Engineers, Sacramento, California, was elected Secretary-Treasurer for a second term.

Board Meeting dates and places were set as follows:

  • April 28, 2007: Tampa, Florida (at the Institute for Business and Home Safety)
  • July 14, 2007: Palo Alto, California "
  • October 20, 2007: Urbana, Illinois (preceded by a one-day meeting with representatives of the Mid-America Earthquake Center)
  • February 2, 2008: San Francisco Bay area, California (Annual and Organizational Meetings)

ATC Board members are appointed for three-year terms, and some Board members serve more than one term.
