Second ATC Representative Returns from Haiti

ATC's Research Applications Manager, Ayse Hortacsu, spent one week in Haiti documenting the damage in Port-au-Prince. The reconnaissance team also included Eduardo Miranda of Stanford University, Veronica Cedillos of Geohazards International, and Carlos Cabrera and Chris Sams of Risk Management Solutions. Together, the team visited the heavily damaged downtown areas, two hospitals and one clinic, numerous school buildings, several government buildings, the public pier, and two cement plants.
