ATC Board of Directors Elects Officers for Year 2007 and Sets Board Meeting dates and Locations

At the annual Organizational Board meeting on February 3, 2007, the Applied Technology Council (ATC) Board of Directors elected officers for the Year 2007. Mr. Patrick Buscovich of Patrick Buscovich & Associates, San Francisco, California, was elected President. During his seven years on the Board, Pat has served as Secretary-Treasurer, Vice President, and on numerous ATC Board Committees. Succeeding Pat as Vice President is Dr. James Harris of J. R. Harris & Company, Denver, Colorado. Mr. David Hutchinson of Buehler & Buehler Structural Engineers, Sacramento, California, was elected Secretary-Treasurer for a second term.
Board Meeting dates and places were set as follows:
- April 28, 2007: Tampa, Florida (at the Institute for Business and Home Safety)
- July 14, 2007: Palo Alto, California "
- October 20, 2007: Urbana, Illinois (preceded by a one-day meeting with representatives of the Mid-America Earthquake Center)
- February 2, 2008: San Francisco Bay area, California (Annual and Organizational Meetings)
ATC Board members are appointed for three-year terms, and some Board members serve more than one term.
